Syndrome Store Review

Hi! ♥

Syndrome has been generous enough to send Caity and I two gorgeous items this month!
Since we personally love the many varieties of clothes and styles that Syndrome sells, we could not wait with to try the lovely items we picked out. Syndrome is an online store based in China and has a wide range of clothes, shoes, accessories, and even swimwear to buy. They sell styles like Korean, Harajuku, Street, Doll, Pastel, Sailor Moon, and Punk for reasonable prices. They update their stock regularly, and every time we check their site it seems to have lots of new designs ready to be purchased.

Putting together this review has been a little tricky for us as Caity has gone overseas on exchange, but we've tried our best. She'll be back soon, and we'll be ready to update more often, so please stick with us! We're working hard to upload more in the future.

In both our personal experiences, Syndrome's customer service has been fast and reliable, something that is necessary for any online store to function properly. Shipping was really good- it took just under two weeks to get from China to Australia, and everything came on time as expected.
The items were neatly packaged in a cute syndrome bag, with another bag on top for the delivery. It was a bit thin, but well sealed regardless- and in saying that, the thinness is okay because of the other bag underneath.

Review time!

Jay's review

Syndrome was kind enough to let us choose our items to review, so I picked out the Loose Bear/Bunny Hoodie in black (bear). (It's more of a hooded jacket to rather than a hoodie in all honesty tbh)

The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the bag was how soft and cuddly it was. It's super nice and warm, and so thick and snugly. Aaaah! The hood is a nice big size so that it falls around your face, and the ears are so sweet. Putting those aside, I think that the round fluffy tail at the back of the jacket is seriously the cutest thing ever.

I've worn this Jacket out a few times and it does a great job of keeping me nice and warm in the cold winter. This jacket is definitely suited to cold weather, as it tends to get too warm at times when I'm in a heated room. As I mentioned before, it's thick and fluffy and has a nice shape to it, sort of longer and baggier. If you're looking for a form fitting, slim and tapered jacket, this is probably not for you.

The quality is pretty good, much better than I was expecting. The only problem I have with it is that it can shed quite a bit if you're not careful, which can be annoying at times. Also, the tail became really loose for me so I had to sew it back on.

In terms of fashion and wearing this outside, you can still style this to look good when you go out. I love wearing it unzipped as it still keeps me warm while looking like one those fluffy black cardigans- just much cuter. In my opinion it's not the most glamorous thing on me when it's zipped up. If I'm wearing it unzipped, though, I'll usually pair it with plaid skirts, a plain white shirt and a choker, or anything simple enough.

Final ratings:

Design: 5/5 Cute and cute, what else can I say? It keeps you warm while giving you enough options to style it however you want- and the ears and tail just top it off.

Quality: 3.5/5 Not a big fan of the shedding. Otherwise, its nice and thick and the softest thing ever- also, watch out for the tail. If you slide around too much, it can become a bit loose.

Fit: 5/5 It's one size only, but it fit perfectly on me. The sleeves were not too short and not too long that they passed the length of my fingertips, but they were still long enough, reaching around the middle of my hand so that I could curl my fingers around the bottom of the sleeve, which I love doing.

Accuracy: 5/5 It looks just like the picture provided, only just a darker black colour.

Overall: 4/5 If you're looking for something snugly and cute to keep you warm in the colder months, I'd recommend this for you!

Caity's review

The product I chose was the Wavy Collared Pullover Sweater in the shade Dark Blue. It's a sweet knitted sweater that has a cute cream coloured collar to match.

First, let me just say- the quality of this sweater is amazing. The knit is tight so that it keeps its shape, but is still loose enough to be soft and comfy. The sweater in itself is pretty heavy, which lets it sit nicely. It's also not too thick but it's still warm enough for light winter weather on its own. Another great thing about this sweater is that you don't have to worry about wearing holes in it or getting it hooked on something by accident, because the knit is nice and firm.

The length is pretty long on me, but it's tighter at the bottom band so that it folds over perfectly if you tuck it in, while retaining it's nice shape when you leave it out. The sleeves have the slightest bat wing to it which I personally love.

Wearing this sweater gives you lots of options to style how your outfit turns out. You can tuck it in loosely into a skirt, or leave it out over the skirt for a more comfy look. The collar softens the whole outfit giving you a sweeter look, and can be accompanied by a cute necklace if you want to bling it up a bit. It looks cute with knee highs too, if you're ever in the mood :-)

Final ratings:

Design: 5/5 The design of this sweater is super sweet.

Quality: 5/5 The quality is one of the best out of all knitted jumpers I've seen from normal brands in Australia, which says a lot. The knit is nice and tight, so you don't have to worry about it stretching out of shape.

Fit: 5/5 The sweater came in one size only, but it fits just right for me as I prefer my sweaters to be slightly baggier in size. The sleeves are slightly longer, but that's the style. This jumper is meant to sit comfortably and loosely, not hugging your body.

Accuracy: 5/5 It looks pretty much exactly like it does on Syndrome's site, which is great.

Overall: 5/5 Overall I'm really pleased with this sweater. It's worth the price, and great to wear. Definitely recommend!

To sum it all up, we are both very impressed with Syndrome's service and items.

I know that I would be happy to purchase from them again, so if you're interested in any of the items featured on this review, or just love asian fashion like we do, visit http://www.syndromestore.com/ and check them out.

Thanks for reading! We hope this helped you.

Japan 2014 //

Since coming back to Australia a couple weeks ago, I've realized how much I miss Japan :( Especially Tokyo, a city I fell in love with after only being there for 4 days.

The photos above were taken spontaneously of my sister on our last day there. She'd walked in our hotel room on the 32nd floor with a bag of maccas, (which by the way, taste a lot better than Australian maccas, the melon milkshakes are my life :o) and sat down on the window sill and just stared out into the city.

I took out my camera and just shot these random photos of her without her realizing. I didn't really know what I was doing then but now looking back at them I think they look pretty cool :-)

The view from the Hilton was just incredible, especially being so high up. I personally have a thing for buildings, even just being surrounded by them. My favorite thing about big cities is how they light up so intensely at night. I reckon its kinda like the whole city is awake with you, and you can't really feel lonely.

Hahahah I really don't even know what I'm saying anymore. But yeah first blog post from me is up! Hope it wasn't too boring :p Disclaimer though: I took these photos within like, 5 minutes, so they're obviously not gonna be the best. They're just some impromptu shots and I decided to upload them onto here.

Also, sorry about the lack of posts on this blog! It is extremely new and with things like school and work in the way, its hard to post often. We're working on it though, and new and exciting posts should be coming your way soon :) So look out for them <3

Review- LensMe Cacao Ring Brown [Kpop2]

Heyy c:

So a few weeks ago I decided to order some more circle lenses to try out.
I've always wanted to check out Kpop2 as I've heard a heap of good reviews about them, and because their $10.99 range seemed really worth it (for cheapos like me).

The lenses arrived within around two weeks, which is pretty good since I live in Australia and the lenses are shipped from Korea.

The packaging was thin but lined properly with bubble wrap, and the lenses were wrapped securely in bubble wrap too.

I got a little creative lol sorry

comic sans omg

Details on the lenses: (taken off the website)

Product name / CacaoOverall diameter (DIA) / 14.0mm
Duration of use / 6 months or moreGraphic diameter / 13.4mm
Manufacturer / LensMeBC / 8.6mm
Place of origin / KOREAMoisture content / 38%
Frequency range / 0.00Astigmatic / impossible

Design/Colour: 5/5
As you can see, the golden brown stands out nicely in my brown eyes. The colour is pretty vibrant. It's not the most natural lens due to the thick brown rim and bright inner colour, but it still looks natural enough due to the size of the lens.

Enlargement: 3/5
Not very evident in my eyes, due to the 13.4 graphic diameter. Good for people who want minimal enlargement without looking too doll-like or alien like, which is fine for me.

Comfort: 3.5/5
I could feel them in my eyes occasionally, but it wasn't too noticeable. My eyes began to feel dry after 4+ hours, which is reasonable.

Value for money: 5/5
Very good, I'm really impressed. The lenses are only $10.99 US dollars (it was around $11-$13 for me after it was converted from USD to AUD, keeping in mind the currency is always changing). The quality of the lenses were just as good as the $20 ones from any other site.

Overall: 4/5
I'm pretty happy with these. The lighten my eye colour nicely and give me the little bit of enlargement I want.
I highly recommend buying lenses from Kpop2. The shipping is fast, and the variety of lenses are really nice.

I would like to say that I was not sponsored to do this review, and everything is my own opinion. results may vary for different people, but I hope this helps!
Feel free to leave comments below, or tell me if there's anything I could improve on- ahh.
